About B.Ed Course

- The B.Ed Course consists of four semesters and the duration of the course is Two years.
- The physically handicapped candidates shall appear for Medical examination compulsorily before the medical board constituted by the Govt. at CAC Bangaluru.
- The medium of instruction for both theory and practice (teaching) shall be either English or Kannada.
- The following photocopies of the documents shall be enclosed to the Application form duly filled.
I) SSLC & PUC Marks Cards.
II) 3 Years Degree Marks Card.
III) Passing certificate /Convocation.
IV) Caste/ Category certificate.
V) Income certificate. - Candidates of Universities other than Karnatak University DWD Should obtain
eligibility certificate from the Registrar, Karnatak Uni. DWD directly.

Eligibility Norms of the Course
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate must secure 50% of marks in aggregate of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/Etc degree examination SC/St/Cat-1 & P.H. candidates with 45% in aggregate are eligible.
- The candidates must have studied any one of the languages and two of the electives at B.A. or B.Sc. B.Com. etc
- Languages: English, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu& Sanskrit.
- Electives: Arts, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, English,Kannada & Hindi
- Science : Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
- Karnataka students: The candidates who have studied for at least 7 full academic years in any recognized institution in Karnataka from 1st Std to X or qualifying examinations in Karnataka are eligible.
